Design Learning
Design learning is a lasting change to an individual’s thinking and behavior that comes from problem-based learning in design studios. Design learners use the process of designing to address one or more design problems. Design problems are intricate, unsettled questions or situations associated with the human-environment condition. Design learners attempt to resolve these types of problems through design inquiry and problem-solving.
